The Social Services Coordinator at Cheraw Healthcare assists residents with personal, emotional, family and adjustment needs.
When new residents are admitted, the Social Services Coordinator will visit and ask questions about the past and present, family and social situations, likes and dislikes. This information will help the staff get to know each resident as an individual with a unique history.
In addition, the Social Services Coordinator will help identify problems or concerns the resident and their family feel are important. Through meeting social and emotional needs, the overall quality of care received throughout the resident's stay at Cheraw Healthcare is enhanced.
